You can spend the night.

Black Kids – Hurricane Jane (rmx. The Twelves)

[Buy the Ministry of Sound’s Chillout Sessions XI for this song. I can’t say for sure if it was ever released on a Black Kids or Twelves album, so if it was, let us know in the comments section. Thanks.]

(Credit for the illustration above goes to Mitch Blunt. I’ve been spending some time perusing through his website, and I like what I see.)

N.B. Yeah, I know: there’s no writing to go with this song. I wrote something, and then I didn’t like it. Then I listened to the song again and I thought, fuck it, I just want to dance. You guys write something.

I’m liking the Big Bird image, haha!

Oh how I’d like to hit the city to this song. Not exactly my cup of tea but I like a little coffee sometimes. 😉

  2. J.R. says:

The beat of this song is delicious. I am oddly addicted to it.

I feel like the Big Bird picture perfectly fits in with Dave Chappelle’s Seasame Street skit.

    “Yeah, Oscar. You’re a grouch.”

  3. Joan says:

J.R., you might be familiar with The Twelves’ remix of Black Kids’ “I’m Not Gonna Teach Him How To Dance With You” but if not I strongly recommend checking it out.

I want to party with Big Bird now.

Got something to say?
